Well, it's official. We are in the Army! Jason reports for Basic Combat Training February 1, 2010! He is going to Ft. Benning, Georgia for 9 weeks and then goes to Ft. Sill, Oklahoma for his job training for another 10 weeks. July 1 he will be finished and we will report to our first duty station (which we don't know yet). We are very excited for this exciting change! God has opened all of the doors for all of this and we are so thankful! Please keep us in your prayers as we go through these next several months and I will keep you all updated! Thank you!Tuesday, December 15, 2009

The past several weeks, Jason has been very seriously considering joining the U.S. Army! He is in the beginning stages - lots of testing and physical screenings. As scary as it seems, we are very excited! We have completely put it in God's hands and if it His will, the right doors will open! Please be praying for our family with many decisions to be made and especially for Jason who is going to be under alot of stress! I am SO proud of him! He is so determined to provide for our family and future!
Jason's brother in law is in the Army as well and at the end of the month his sister is moving to Colorado Springs to be with her husband! Paige and I will be going along to help her move! This month has been devoted to spending time with her and Dylan, her son who is Paige's age, before they leave!
Well, that being our only exciting news, there isn't much to report! :) Here are some pics from the last weeks!

Summer and 2!
Along with swimming lessons, Paige decided she wanted to go potty in the big potty! That was about a month ago and now we are totally in big girl panties (except at night, of course)! It has been quite an experience!
July 31, Paige got her very first haircut! It was mainly a trim, but a haircut nonetheless! :)

Jason and I at the wedding! :)

Paige in her wedding attire! :) (she's posing)
After the wedding has come Resurrection Sunday a.k.a. Easter! We were going to go camping with Jason's family, but got wind that it was going to rain, so we decided to just hang out at home! We did go visit for a few hours and yes it did rain - alot! We had a lot of fun sliding off the road in the mud and getting the truck nice and dirty! Once up there, Paige and Dylan enjoyed their time together! They are growing up so fast and it's fun to see the differences in personalities and how different girls and boys really are. Paige does not like mud! Dylan loves it! :) Boys will be boys!

Sunday, we went to church for Easter and although they had an Easter egg hunt, Paige is just a little to young for it and didn't grasp the concept! :) Overall, we had a great weekend and wish we had more like them! God really is good and we praise Him for all He has done for us!

Paige, 17 months now, is the joy of our lives! She is so much fun and everyday makes us smile and laugh. She is growing up so much and talking more and more! It's getting colder now, so we have to play inside alot. Her sandbox sits empty for the winter. Soon enough, it will be spring and we will be out and about! We are planning on planting a garden - she will love being in the dirt. It will be a great outdoor activity!
Jason is still traveling back and forth to Phoenix, which is a long drive for him, but he and I are so thankful that he has a good job! He is currently involved in our church's Men's Fraternity and is the director of our AWANA's TREK (junior high) group (as am I). We are also involved in a young families group as well.
I am still staying at home and enjoying the precious time I have with Paige. I also babysit my friend's little boy as well. They are great friends already! :)
We are planning for more children, and are sure it will happen in God's time! We are so thankful for all of His provisions in our lives! HAPPY 2009!
