Dinosaurs and recreation

Well, we've been here for about 2 months and are finally settled in our house!  Two weeks after we moved in, my mom and sister came to visit.  It was such a fun time to have them come to our house!  Two weeks after that we drove to Albuquerque to meet my parents.  They very generously gave us mom's PT Cruiser (since she bought a new car).  It was great to see them again and it was a very easy drive.
We are getting into a groove with Jason's new work schedule (that is about to change again since he is starting school March 19).  He has days off during the week which is great for touring since most people are still working! :)  The weather is feeling a little more like spring so we are able to be outside for longer periods of time without feeling like we are going to turn into icicles.  We took a drive yesterday to visit the Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center.  It was fun for Paige to see all of the skeletons, but definitely not work the $20 for the 45 min. we were there.  We had to laugh at the lady trying to give us a tour.  We politely told her we were not interested so instead she just followed us around and gave her spiel about each dinosaur and how they lived MILLIONS of years ago (really lady, pick up a Bible).  Anyway, after leaving the Dinos we drove back down the mountain.  The views were magnificent.  We will definitely be making more trips up there for pictures...plus it's on the way to Pike's Peak.
We are making Colorado Springs our home and are loving it so much here!  We are so thankful to be closer to family and be getting the medical care that Tucker needs.  2 weeks ago he came down with RSV had had to be in the hospital overnight.  What a blessing he was taken care of so well here.  He had to come home on oxygen for a week, but he's a tough little booger and is doing great! Thank you for all of your prayers for him and for us.  God is so good!

Birthday Celebration

We arrived in Colorado a week before my birthday, and we decided to go to Focus on the Family for the big day.  It was such a fun place.  Having grown up with Adventures in Odyssey and Dr. Dobson, it was a special treat.  The kids loved it as well!  I highly recommend visiting there if you are ever in Colorado Springs!

Well, it's 2009! Where has the time gone? We are looking forward to a great year!
Paige, 17 months now, is the joy of our lives! She is so much fun and everyday makes us smile and laugh. She is growing up so much and talking more and more! It's getting colder now, so we have to play inside alot. Her sandbox sits empty for the winter. Soon enough, it will be spring and we will be out and about! We are planning on planting a garden - she will love being in the dirt. It will be a great outdoor activity!
Jason is still traveling back and forth to Phoenix, which is a long drive for him, but he and I are so thankful that he has a good job! He is currently involved in our church's Men's Fraternity and is the director of our AWANA's TREK (junior high) group (as am I). We are also involved in a young families group as well.
I am still staying at home and enjoying the precious time I have with Paige. I also babysit my friend's little boy as well. They are great friends already! :)
We are planning for more children, and are sure it will happen in God's time! We are so thankful for all of His provisions in our lives! HAPPY 2009!
