Well, July is here! We celebrated the 4th together this year! :) We woke up early and made the trek downtown for the parade! We were there an hour before it began and barely found a spot! Being there with our daughter brought back memories of all the time we went with my parents as kids! Paige LOVED the big horses and fire trucks (she kept yelling "PAPA!!"when they would pass)! Later in the day we had a BBQ with great friends and played a form of golf and had a big tournament! After the BBQ we wen to Prescott Valley for the fireworks show! Granted, this is not Omaha in my sister's backyard, but they were good nonetheless! God Bless the USA!! We had our family picture taken on this truck when I was little!! :)

Rockin' the shades like her daddy! :)

Daddy's girl

Other milestones this month is Paige has begun potty training! We are in the 2nd week and she is doing GREAT!!! She is running around the house in dresses alot! :) We are still working on the big girl underwear - she has a hard time getting them off! haha It's hard to believe our little girl is old enough for this already! Two years has flown by and I find myself forgetting what it was like to have a newborn! (tear) She keeps life interesting! It's fun to have our conversations in the car and she actually understands all that I'm saying now! What a blessing she is!

Well, it's 2009! Where has the time gone? We are looking forward to a great year!
Paige, 17 months now, is the joy of our lives! She is so much fun and everyday makes us smile and laugh. She is growing up so much and talking more and more! It's getting colder now, so we have to play inside alot. Her sandbox sits empty for the winter. Soon enough, it will be spring and we will be out and about! We are planning on planting a garden - she will love being in the dirt. It will be a great outdoor activity!
Jason is still traveling back and forth to Phoenix, which is a long drive for him, but he and I are so thankful that he has a good job! He is currently involved in our church's Men's Fraternity and is the director of our AWANA's TREK (junior high) group (as am I). We are also involved in a young families group as well.
I am still staying at home and enjoying the precious time I have with Paige. I also babysit my friend's little boy as well. They are great friends already! :)
We are planning for more children, and are sure it will happen in God's time! We are so thankful for all of His provisions in our lives! HAPPY 2009!
